Your Rights
You have the right to request information, rectification, erasure or restriction regarding your personal data from us in accordance with statutory provisions. If we process your data based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Where we pursue a legitimate interest in processing your data, you may object to such processing.
You also have the right to data portability: you may request that we provide you with the personal data you have supplied to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Independently of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia).
Collection and Processing of Personal Data
When you visit our website, our web server automatically stores connection data about the visit. This connection data includes the website visited, your IP address, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. No further personal data is collected automatically. This data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of system security. Beyond this, no personal data is collected unless you provide it voluntarily – for example, by using our contact form.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Data
We use the personal data you provide exclusively for the purpose for which it was collected, for example to process contracts or to respond to your inquiry.
Your personal data is not disclosed to persons outside the company unless this is necessary to fulfil a contract or you have given your express consent.
Use of Cookies
Our website partly uses so-called cookies, which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies are small text files used to identify recurring visitors. Cookies help make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. They expire after a set period of inactivity. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit. You can of course view our websites without cookies as well. You can configure your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and allow them only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Please refer to your browser manufacturer’s instructions for details on how to do this. Information on this is also available from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Use of Matomo (Web Analytics)
This website uses the open-source web analytics service Matomo to statistically evaluate the use of our website and improve our offering.
Matomo is operated by us ourselves (server location: Germany). Your data is not transferred to third parties or to countries outside the EU/EEA.
We use Matomo in a privacy-friendly configuration:
- Your IP address is shortened (anonymised) before storage, so it can no longer be traced back to your internet connection.
- No individual visitor profiles or session histories are stored.
- Only first-party cookies are used, no third-party cookies.
- Collected data is automatically deleted after 180 days.
Matomo is only used if you have consented via our cookie consent banner (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, §25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time via the cookie banner.
Copyright and Trademark
We reserve all rights, including those of photomechanical reproduction, duplication and distribution by special methods (e.g. data processing, data carriers, data networks), even in part.
We further expressly point out that the designations, trademarks, logos and brand names mentioned and shown on this website are the property of the respective companies and/or persons and are subject to copyright.
External Links
This website contains so-called “external links” to other websites, over whose content the provider of this website has no influence. For this reason, the provider cannot assume any liability for such content.
The respective provider of the linked website is solely responsible for the content and accuracy of the information provided. At the time of linking, no legal infringements were apparent. Should such an infringement become known, the link will be removed immediately.
